1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in skill-based prize competitions operated by PLM Technologies Ltd trading as Loom ("we", "us", "our"). By entering any of our competitions, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our competitions are skill-based prize draws that require participants to answer a skill-based question correctly before entry. No purchase is necessary to win.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to participate
  • You must be a resident of the United Kingdom
  • Employees of PLM Technologies Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering
  • One account per person is permitted

3. Entry Requirements

  • Each competition has specific entry requirements including entry fee and number range
  • Payment must be completed within the reservation time limit (5 minutes)
  • A skill-based question must be answered correctly before purchasing entries
  • Maximum of 10 numbers per reservation transaction
  • No purchase necessary - free postal entry available (see Section 6)
  • All sales are final - no refunds except as required by law

4. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card (available to all users)
  • Bank Transfer (subject to approval)

5. Free Postal Entry

No purchase is necessary to enter our competitions. You may enter for free by post.

  • Postal Address: Loom Free Entry, PO Box [Number], London, UK
  • Entry Requirements: Send a postcard or letter with your full name, address, phone number, email address, and the competition ID you wish to enter
  • Number Selection: Specify your chosen number(s) (1-100) or request random allocation
  • Postage: You must provide your own postage. We will not pay return postage
  • Deadline: Postal entries must be received before the competition closes (see individual competition details)
  • Limit: One free postal entry per person per competition
  • Processing: Free entries will be processed within 48 hours of receipt and you will receive email confirmation
  • Note: PO Box address will be confirmed and published on the website before competitions go live

6. The Draw

  • Draws take place on the date and time specified for each competition
  • Winners are selected using a certified random number generator
  • The draw may be live-streamed or recorded for transparency
  • We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a draw in exceptional circumstances
  • If a draw is cancelled, all ticket purchases will be refunded

7. Prizes

  • Prize details are clearly stated on each competition page
  • Prizes are either fixed amounts or percentages of the total pot (typically 80%)
  • Prizes will be paid in GBP (British Pounds Sterling)
  • Winners will be notified via email and phone within 48 hours of the draw
  • Winners have 28 days to claim their prize
  • Unclaimed prizes will be donated to charity
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash alternatives

7. Winner Notification and Verification

  • Winners will be contacted using the details provided during registration
  • Winners must provide proof of identity and age before prizes are awarded
  • Acceptable ID includes: passport, driving licence, or government-issued ID
  • We may publish winners' names and cities (first name and city only) for transparency
  • Winners may request anonymity by contacting us within 24 hours of notification

8. Fair Play and Responsible Participation

We are committed to fair play and responsible participation:

  • Set spending limits that you can afford
  • Participate within your means
  • Take regular breaks from competitions
  • Remember these are skill-based competitions, not gambling
  • Free postal entry is always available as an alternative

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • You breach these Terms and Conditions
  • You provide false or misleading information
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
  • You create multiple accounts
  • You are under 18 years of age

In case of termination, any active reservations will be cancelled and refunded.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any losses arising from your participation in our competitions
  • We are not responsible for technical failures, network issues, or payment processing errors beyond our control
  • Our total liability is limited to the value of tickets purchased
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, graphics, text, and software, is owned by PLM Technologies Ltd or our licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute:

  1. Contact us first via email or phone to resolve the issue informally
  2. If unresolved, you may seek independent mediation through a consumer dispute resolution service
  3. Any disputes will be governed by the laws of England and Wales
